Trail maintenance, November 2, 3rd.
That said we will be working this weekend Saturday and Sunday from 9AM until 4PM both days. If you have a couple of hours please come and join us. Our goal this weekend is to fix about a dozen spots on the ridge line so we can groom that section in winter.
With the wet weather we have been way behind on our goals this year for trail improvements and normal maintenance.
We will be starting at Rendezvous point G on Saturday and working our way back to lookout Junction F and all the way to E.
With a grant from The Owatonna Foundation and funds from our OTA members we are going to be able to purchase a snowdog groomer. This new groomer and the widening of the trail on the ridge line we will be able to groom the whole trail no matter the depth of the snow.
I Will have all the tools needed and if you have trouble finding us you can message me and I will give directions.
