Trails are packed and fast. The first mile and Scott’s Scrambler are great and don’t require studded tires.
That said any south facing trail have very icy spots. I rode tonight without but had to watch my line on corners and other glare ice spots.
If you have studded tires now is the time to put them on. If you don’t have studded tires the new owner of Straight River Sports, Andy Boe would be happy to help you find a pair to fit your fat bike.
